Hello Falcon Families,

This next week is our first full week in a while. We have a few things coming up. The biggest of these items is our Student Climate Survey. This survey, which is administered each year, District-Wide, tries to gauge how connected students are to their schools. Please see a sample of the survey below. We want as many students as possible to take this survey, so we can get some good feedback on how to target student needs. This survey is optional, and if you want your child to not participate, please let them know that. You can also reach out to me, via email tobyt@ckschools.org or ParentSquare message.

We would also like to hear your voice as well. Please consider completing this Family Climate Survey. The feedback you give us is valuable in helping make Fairview the best, most-welcoming school we can. Thanks for taking 5 minutes to complete this survey. The survey closes on Feb 27th.

We are beginning to have Merch Mondays here at FMS. This will allow students to stock up on school clothing and get in the Falcon Fashion. Please see the flyer below for more details.

On Friday, we are excited to invite Jasmine Mendez, an award-winning author, to our library. She'll be working with our 7th and 8th graders on the craft or writing. A big thanks to Julie Gillies, our librarian, for bringing Jasmine here.

WELCOME TO OUR STUDENT STORE! We are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!!  All items must be purchased ON-SITE.  We are launching out Merch Mondays next week, and wanted to give you a sneak peek at the items that will be available.  We take all forms of payment, even "tap" with Apple and Google Pay.  Checks can be written out to Fairview.  My favorite item is the lanyard, where students can attach their I.D./ASB Cards.  Looking forward to seeing all the kids in their new spirit gear!! GO FALCONS!!

One thing we’re starting here at FMS is Baby Eyas (Name for baby falcon). Each week, we’ll show baby pictures from a few students and have students guess who they are. If you’d like your child’s baby picture to be included, please send your pictures to Heather Bowser, at heatherb@ckschools.org Please be sure to put your child’s name with the email as well. We’re hoping a few teachers will share their baby pics as well, so we can have fun guessing who is who.
